Mount Barker City Centre masterplan updated

Mount Barker District Council and Burke Urban Investments have unveiled a revised Master Plan for the first stage of the Mount Barker City Centre, shaped by community feedback and detailed feasibility studies. The updated plan prioritises open public space, including a new town square, while introducing council offices, community services, retail and accommodation. Building heights have been reduced and the previously proposed multi-level car park removed, creating a more community-focused precinct designed to bring locals and visitors together while supporting future economic growth.
