Future Heysen Hotel

For the first time in 170 years, Mt Barker is getting a new pub.

Heysen Hotel is planned to be three-stories with a bistro, sports bar, gaming lounge, function rooms, outdoor spaces, undercroft parking and a drive-through bottle shop. This new hotel will create a number of job opportunities for locals and become a hot spot for travellers in the Hills.

Construction is to begin late 2025 or early 2026 and the venue to be fully opened by 2028.
