Mount Barker Interchange Upgrade

A new three-lane bridge will be built for northbound traffic as part of the upgrade to the current Mt Barker Interchange. This will also include new traffic signals and improved ramp capacity, with the current bridge being converted for southbound traffic.
Other features include:
- New bus priority lane
- New Shared Use Path
- New bike lane
- Better accessibility and safety for drivers
The Interchange is expected to open to traffic late 2027.
