Future Mt Barker Hospital

Scheduled to be finished by the end of 2027, the $320 million Mount Barker Hospital will be greatly welcomed by the rapidly growing Hills community.
Bed capacity will be expanded for specialist maternity, paediatric, rehabilitation, medical, surgical and palliative care. Alongside will also be 35 consult rooms, a mental health unit and an allied health gymnasium.
The Mt Barker emergency department that was completed in 2023 will be integrated into the Mount Barker Hospital.
