New Town Centre

In response to the growing population in Mt Barker, a new town square is being developed. The Square plans to be the beating heart for both the community and businesses, with retail, office, accommodation and car parking spaces. It will invigorate the area economically and encourage stronger social interactions and connections.

Covering 2000 square metres, the development will transform the precinct and support the increasing population.

Construction is expected to start in 2025.
